Before the class starts:

'O The Almighty God, I beseech thee to light the flame to learn in us so that we can easily understand the lessons we shall have today. May our dearest teachers be able to teach us to be a better person for today and the future. Amen.'

After the class is done:

'O The Almighty God, I would like to express our gratitude for all lesson we have had today. May such be useful knowledge for our own life, our family, our society and nation. Amen.'

Penjelasan:

In saying prayers in English, one tends to use rather formal or poetic sentences as often found in any holy books either Bible or Koran. There are mainly several stuff included in the prayers such as

• The phrase to address God.
• The expression of gratitude
• The statement of one's wish
• The hope
• The pious ending like the usage of 'amen' in it.
